Six Decks Blackjack

Objective of the game
Blackjack is a card game where the Player plays against the Dealer. To beat the Dealer the Player should have a total that exceeds the Dealer’s total but no more than 21.
In a Sixdeck Blackjack there are six decks. Each of them comprises 52 cards from deuce to Ace of all four suits.

Values of the cards

  • The values of the cards from deuce to ten equal to their face values.
  • The value of Jack, Queen or King is 10.
  • The value of Ace can be either 1 or 11. The Player who has Ace takes priority as the value of this card can vary from 11 to 1 and vice versa, depending on the total sum of points. A combination of cards when Ace is counted as 11 is called “soft hand”. “Soft 17” is Ace and six. A combination where Ace is counted as 1 is called “hard hand”. “Hard 17” is Ace, six and ten.

Bets
To start the game the Player should make his bet on one or more betting boxes. The Player can buy up to five betting boxes. To make a bet you should click a necessary chip and place it on the playing field in front of the corresponding betting box. To cancel the bet, press “Clear Bet” button. To repeat the bets of the previous round you can press “Repeat Bet” button.

Beginning of the game
To begin the game the Player should make a bet and press “Deal” button. The Dealer will deal the cards in twos among all bought betting boxes and himself. All cards are distributed in the open. Only the second Dealer’s card remains closed. The combination of two cards is called Blackjack when the total sum of points of the cards is 21. Blackjack is possible only after the first distribution.

Insurance and Dealer’s Blackjack
After the distribution the Dealer checks his first card. If it is Ace, the Player can make an insurance bet. An insurance bet is a side bet in which Players are betting that the Dealer's second card will be a ten-value card and he will have a Blackjack. An insurance bet can be made on every bought betting box. Its value depends on the initial bet and is equal to one half of it. After the Player decided to insure all his betting boxes, the Dealer checks, but doesn’t open his second card. If the Dealer’s first card is a ten-value card, he also checks his second card, but this time the Player can not make an insurance bet. In case the Dealer has a Blackjack, he opens his second card, declares the result and pays off all the insurance bets at 2 to 1 odds. Then the Dealer checks the Player’s combinations, and if the Player has a Blackjack, the Dealer returns him the bet value of the betting box. All other Player’s bets lose and the game is over. If the Dealer does not have a Blackjack, he declares the result but does not open his second card. After this all the insurance bets lose and go to the revenue of the casino.

Player’s Blackjack
After the Dealer checked his cards and found out that he doesn’t have a Blackjack, he pays off all Player’s Blackjacks, because he will not take more points than the Player. The Player’s betting boxes with a Blackjack pay off at 3 to 2 odds. After all Player’s Blackjacks are paid off, the turn goes to the first betting box, and the Player decides what to do further.

Surrender
The Player can surrender if the combination of cards seems to be unfavorable for him. Moreover the betting box loses, but the Player gets back half of the bet of the betting box. The Player can surrender only if he hasn’t done any other operations yet. The Player can not surrender if the dealer’s hole card is Ace.

Double
The Player can double down his initial bet if the combination of cards seems to be favorable for him. Moreover, an additional sum will be withdrawn from the Player’s account and he will get just one more card. The turn then automatically goes to the next betting box.The Player can double down his bet only if he has 2 cards. A bet can not be doubled down after the split and if there is a “soft hand” combination, when the Player has at least one Ace.

Split
The Player can split a pair of cards of the same value in two hands (two fives or Queen and Jack). An additional bet should be made on the new hand. Its value should be the same as the value of the initial bet of this betting box. At the same time the split hands play and are paid as usual betting boxes, but with some limits. With split hands you can not surrender, double down the bet or make the second split. If the Player split two Aces, he will get only one additional card per hand. The combination of two cards on a split hand which is equal to 21 is not considered as a Blackjack. After the split there is only one card on every hand. The second card is given automatically when the turn goes to the split hand. And if there are 21 points on this hand, the turn goes to another hand. If the total sum of points on the hand is less than 21, the Player can either get one more card by pressing the “Hit” button or stop with the help of “Stand” button.

Stand
If the Player is satisfied with the current combination or he is afraid of bust, he can stop and stand with the cards he has. At the same time the combination is fixed to be compared later with the combination of the Dealer, and the turn goes to the next Player’s hand.

Hit
If the Player decides he should get more points to win the round, he can take one more card by pressing the button “Hit”. The Dealer will give one more card for the current hand. The Player can repeat this operation until he gets 21 points. But he should not forget about possibility of the bust.

Bust
If the Player asked an additional card and the total sum of points exceeded 21, a current hand loses at once and the bet goes to the revenue of the casino. Then the turn goes to the next hand. After all of the betting boxes have played the turn goes to the Dealer.

Rules for the Dealer
Rules for the Dealer are simple and do not depend on the Player’s combinations. The Dealer should give an additional card if his total sum of points is less than 17. He should stop if he gets 17 or more points, except the situation when there are no more Player’s bets on the table (they are either lost or paid). Then the Dealer just opens his second card and the game is over.

Compare of the combinations
After the Dealer has stopped there is a pairwise compare of the Dealer’s and the Player’s combinations.

  • If the Dealer has bust, the other Player’s bets win and pay 1:1 odds.
  • If the Player has more points than the Dealer, the bet wins and pays 1:1 odds.
  • If the Player and the Dealer have equal sum of points, Equality is declared and the Player gets back his bet.
  • If the Player has less points then the Dealer, the bet of the current hand loses and goes to the revenue of the casino.

Open Blackjack

Before any cards are dealt, the player must wager. He does this by placing his bet in the designated space in front of his table position. The dealer then deals two cards to each of the players, and two to himself (one of the dealer's cards is dealt face up and one is dealt facing down). Face cards (kings, queens and jacks) count as 10, ace counts as one or 11 (as the player chooses) and all other cards are counted at their face value.
